1 Corinthians 3:21-23: All things are yours… and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.
When Jesus said to pray in a certain manner in Matthew 6:9-10 He said we should pray the kingdom of God would come to earth (Your Kingdom Come), and pray that the will of God be brought to earth from heaven (Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.) Everything we need already exists in the Kingdom of God and it is God’s will for us to have everything Jesus has obtained as a joint heir through prayer. To find out how to bring the supply from heaven and pray God’s will into the earth, you study God’s Written Word and the promises in God’s Word can be brought into reality by the correct prayer of faith.
Answered Prayer by God’s Will
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us (1 John 5:14). And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him (1 John 5:15).
God has in the last days spoken to us by His Son who is heir of all things (Hebrews 1:1-2) The Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God and joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:16). As a Christian we qualify for everything Jesus qualifies for and we must pray according to God’s will to receive the same way Jesus did. According to Jesus he only said what His Father said and He only did what He saw His Father do. All the miracles through the words Jesus spoke were done by His Father who lives in Him (John 5:19, John 5:30, John 14:10). We can speak the same words (found in the Bible) and see the same results as Jesus saw as God answers our prayer with a “Yes and So Be It” (John 14:12).
Answered Prayer is Always Yes and So Be It
All the promises of God are yes and amen not sometimes yes and sometimes no (2 Corinthians 1:19-20). The material substance of all the promises exist in the kingdom of God for us to receive. If we are not receiving it is not something God is holding back, it is something we have not matured enough to find out how to receive. Peter tells us to grow in a full experience of salvation we must crave pure spiritual milk of the word (1 Peter 2:2) Paul told the Corinthians he was just giving them spiritual baby food for they had not matured enough to receive anything stronger (1 Corinthians 3:2). But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through love, for faith works by love (Galatians 5:6).
The Perfect Prayer God Prays for You
Romans 8:28: And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
How does God cause all things to work together for good? The answer is found in the two prior verses Romans 8:26-27; God causes us to pray the perfect prayer of His perfect will for us through speaking in tongues. I love the scripture that tells me all things are going to work together for good, but without saying the two preceding verses, “that God prays the prayer for us through tongues”, is leaving out why we know all things work together for good. What a wonderful gift God has given us to use while we are studying how to pray His perfect Will prayer (1 John 5:14-15).
Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul…as you are walking in the truth (3 John 1:2-3). I know that everyone can receive answered prayer as we connect the Spirit through God’s Word.
