Branches in Christ

John 15:5
5“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

When you connect an electric light bulb to a lamp stand it does nothing. But when you plug the lamp into the source it lights up and brightens everything around it. It is the same when someone connects their self with the title Christian, it does nothing. But when the person plugs in to Christ they are connected to the source for bearing fruit of salvation and they become the branches. As branches connected to the vine, the vine being Jesus, you connected to the source where all blessing flow, everything lights up and is blessed with fruits of healing, prosperity, and completeness.

People See the Fruit, Then Branches, The Vine Is Hidden

I am sure you have heard that orange trees produce oranges and apple trees produce apples and Christian’s produce Christian’s. This has been the saying I have heard about the fruit we are to bear. I believe as we plug into the source the fruit we are to bear is the shalom peace in our lives. Nothing missing and nothing broken. The fruits of health, prosperity and wholeness can be displayed from our branches as Christians. As people see the fruit we have on our branches they will want to eat the same fruit thus producing a Christian.

All people worldwide would love to have the blessings in their life that Jesus has for them, and all they need is to find some fruit bearing branches that are plugged into the Jesus vine that actually bear this kind of fruit. When you make yourselves at home with Jesus and His words are at home in you, people will see the fruit you are bearing on your branches before they see Jesus. This is how we honor God and bear the fruit that He has sent us to bear. (John 15:7-8)

When we accepted Jesus as our savior we made that choice, but the choice for us to bear fruit is not ours to make. God makes the choice for us to bear the fruit and it has to be on His terms and conditions. (John 15:16) That is why it is very important to find out what fruit God says you can bear on your branch thru His word. Without the water of the word coming from the vine you are connected to you will find it very hard to bear fruit. God wants you to bring forth good fruit and that it should remain and not spoil.

Branches Bearing Fruit Gifts

God wants us to realize that we are chosen as the branches and have been blessed with the righteousness of Christ. We do not have to struggle to become the branches and depend on our good works. We are part of Him and we receive from Him the righteousness flowing from the vine into the branches qualifying us for every blessing. These blessings are the fruit God wants us to display on our branches.

Beloved, you can do nothing on your own, but as you see yourself with His life flowing through you, and see the promises of His word as secured by God Himself, then God will bring forth a bountiful harvest of prosperity, healing and miracles to display on your branches. You only need to remain conscious of who you already are in Christ!
