I Am that I Am
14And God said to Moses, “I am who I am.”…
I Am that I Am is a common English translation of the response used when Moses asked for God’s name. (Exodus 3:14) The title means the self existence of God. He Who was, Who is and Who will be always. This is generally interpreted to mean I am that I am, though it can also be translated as “I-shall-be that I-shall-be.
If you have a challenge in your life God wants you to know that He declares to you: “I shall be to you what you need me to be.”
For Your Needs I Am That I Am
Do you need healing? God says to you: (Psalm 107:20) I am the Lord who heals you. (Matthew 8:17) that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “ He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”
Are you in darkness and need His Light to show you the way? God says to you: (John 8:12) “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
Are you needing eternal life and assurance? God says to you: (John 11:25) “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
Are you fearful of what is ahead of you? God says to you: (Psalm 23:1-3) “I am the good shepherd (John 10:11), who leads you to pastures of tender, green grass and waters of rest. You will not suffer lack.”
I Am That I Am The Blessings You Need
Beloved, do not worry about your needs or problems that you face in this life. The Great I AM That I AM declares to you: (Isaiah 41:10) Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness… for I Am that I Am (I shall be to you what you need me to be).
