Matthew 9:28-30 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”; and their sight was restored…”
Jesus asked the blind men if they believed He was able to heal them. Jesus did the healing and according to Jesus it was done unto them by their faith in Him. What faith did these men have? They heard about Him and believed He was able to heal them, does that sound like the faith needed to get the healing? According to Jesus a revelation of Him is all we need to receive our miracle. The greater the revelation of Jesus the greater our faith is in Him to do miracles.
Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith
Faith for miracles comes through the author of faith. Sometimes we think our faith is bringing us the things we have hoped for but our faith is started by Jesus who is the Author and completed by Jesus who is the Finisher. The greater the revelation we have of Jesus, revelation in His Righteousness as a gift to us and revelation in His abundance of Grace, the more we have faith like these blind men in Matthew 9:28-30 that He is able to do the miracles we desire.
Jesus Is Our Faith
Jesus is our healing, our Salvation, our Protector, our Provider. He is our All and All in everything in life. Jesus said that He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10.) The Abundance is in Jesus. The key words to this abundance are that He came. He is the reason for the life more abundant, because He is the life more abundant. When you see Jesus as you’re Author and Finisher in life, you can see Jesus just like these blind men saw Him when Jesus asked them if they believe He is able to heal them. Beloved, Jesus is able to do you’re miracle and as you’re revelation of Jesus grows the more you’re faith grows and receives.
