The Redeemed Have Power to Speak Their Blessings
Hebrews 3:1
Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
Jesus wants our profession to be filled with words of faith. As we see the year ending we should speak about the blessings and good things the Lord has made happen in our lives. Jesus, as High Priest of our confession, wants us to speak the gospel as described to Abraham in Galatians 3:8-9 which says: “…(God) preached the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.” The gospel is blessings from God and as we speak of the blessings the more the blessings will come.
The Redeemed Have Power To Speak Away Their Blessings
One of the main worries people have is about finances; will they always be able to provide for their family, economy, troubles, cost of living, etc… Jesus said: “take no thought saying” so if you don’t speak the thoughts they go away without causing loss. (Matthew 7:31, James 3) If we speak any thought that comes into our minds, especially worrisome thoughts, we are not speaking words of faith that the High Priest over our confession would like for us to say. We can speak away our blessings or speak them into our lives. We were not meant to speak blessings and curses since they cannot be mixed. The intention of our speaking should be about blessings of our redemption and not distractions of the world sent for discouragement.(James 3:10) We have received the gospel which God said to Abraham was blessings and we are told the redeemed should speak about our blessed redemption from poverty, sickness and death. (Psalm 107:2)
Let the Redeemed Speak Blessings
As this year ends and a new year begins, lets think about the birth of Jesus and the blessings that His birth has brought about in our lives. As we are thinking these blessings let us speak of the blessings we want the Lord to bring into our lives in the coming years since we know we are the redeemed of the Lord.
Beloved, God gave our words power, the redeemed of the Lord speak about the redemption of the Lord and say things that license Jesus and His angels to bring blessings into our lives.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you from Destiny Ministries!
