God Has His Eye On The Sparrow
Luke 12:6–7
6“Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. 7But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
Have you ever wondered if God really loves you? Or maybe you could be someone God no longer wanted because of your past? That is how the devil wants you to feel and he will send those type of thoughts to keep you in your state of feeling unloved and unwanted. Jesus wants you to know that you are loved and not forgotten, even every bird is known to him and he keeps track of their life. So you are of much more importance than the bird, God even bothers to count the hairs on your head and if you lose one He bothers counts them again.
God Goes Out Of His Way With Love
Jesus needed to go to Samaria and there was a short route to take to get there. Instead of taking that route, He decided to go a longer route through Sychar. (John 4:4-6) There Jesus sat by Jacob’s Well to rest from the long journey and His disciples went into town to buy some food. I believe Jesus went out of his way to talk to a woman who came to the well to draw water. In the past she had five husbands and the man she was living with was not her husband. The devil was probably filling her mind with thoughts of how God didn’t love her, and probably didn’t want her because of her failures in her past. Yet, in spite of all this, she mattered to Jesus! He needed to go to her to minister to her. And indeed, after she met Jesus, the perfect Man, she was transformed. She was no longer ashamed, and went into the city to tell the people about Him. (John 4:28–29)
God Cares For Every Area Of Your Life
God loves you so much that He is interested in the smallest details of your life, you don’t have to overcome any problem on your own. So no matter what problems you may be facing you can rest in His love for you. There is no problem to big or too small for Him to handle. He has a vast love for you and wants to help you in every aspect of your life.
Beloved, just like for the woman at the well, Jesus came a long way from heaven just to be with you. You matter to him more than anything on this earth. He came that you might receive salvation, and thru this salvation receive eternal and earthly blessings that He wants to give you by your faith in His Grace. He knows you by name and even the smallest detail about you down to how many hairs are on your head, and in spite of how you may feel about yourself He wants to help you and make your life complete in Him. God sent Jesus to give you new life and this new life more abundantly, so don’t hesitate, put your trust in His love for you today. (John 10:10)
