You-Are-Complete-In-Christ

Colossians 2:10 You Are Complete In Christ

Christ Is Above Every Principality

Colossians 2:10
and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Entering into the fullness and completion of Christ is not something you figure out or achieve. It’s not a matter of being circumcised or keeping a long list of laws. No, you’re already in – your an insider – not through some secretive initiation rite but rather through what Christ has already gone through for you, destroying the power of sin.

When you look at yourself who do you see? Do you see yourself as whole and complete in Christ or someone who is lacking in many areas? Do you have thoughts, that demons and rulers of darkness, may have more power over you than the name of Jesus has over them? There are believers who see themselves as incomplete. They see their weaknesses, condemn themselves and feel inferior to others. What we think we need or are lacking in, whether it is power over God’s defeated enemies,  godly character traits, physical health, or anything else we already have in Christ.

Christ Our Wisdom

We know that God has held nothing back from us. We no longer live under the low-lying black cloud of sin. We have been set free from condemnation and defeat of our mistakes, (past, present or future), and because of God’s help, we are free to live the Christian life.

We have the examples in the Bible, knowing what Jesus did, carrying out God’s will. When we need wisdom Christfrom God we have God’s Wisdom through Christ, because we have the mind of Christ with His Spirit dwelling in us. (1 Corinthians 2:16) It is like cooking fudge in a pan, all the ingredients are in there, when the heat is applied, (worldly pressures), the internal ingredients begin to form into the solution we have been waiting for. Like the enjoyment of the fudge after heating the ingredients together, we get to enjoy the solutions God gives us thru Christ, freeing us from the worldly pressures, who not only strengthens us, but completes us in Himself. The end result tastes so good, and is just what we were needing all along.

In Christ All Things Hold Together

We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see God’s original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels—everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment. And when it comes to the church, he organizes and holds it together, like a head does a body. (Colossians 1:17 MSG)

Beloved, you are not going to be complete in Christ someday – you are already complete in Him now. The only thing that remains for you to do is walk in this completeness by believing what God’s Word says about you is true. To believe it is to speak what you believe. So don’t focus on your lack in anything in life. Instead focus on your completeness in Jesus and say: “Jesus You are my Wisdom, I put on the mind of Christ.”,  “Jesus you are my peace, You give me comfort that passes all human understanding.”, “Jesus you are my healing, I am qualified and completely healed in you.”, “Jesus you are my prosperity, I prosper and can do all things relying on your strength.”, “Jesus you are my protection, Your angels camp round about me keeping me safe from harm.”

As in Psalms 27:13 you must believe to see the goodness of the Lord, so speak what you believe. Instead of weaknesses, lack and defects, you will see the strength of Christ; His wholeness, soundness and completeness manifesting in you!
