God’s Angels
Psalm 103:20
20Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word.
Gods angels are ministering spirits, sent to help out those who are to inherit and receive salvation. (Hebrews 1:14) Salvation has many components besides trying to limit it to eternal life only. One way to determine the meaning of salvation is to ask yourself: “What do I need to be saved from?” Then you are on the right track to knowing God’s love extends to every area of your need in your life. Sometimes it seems with all the 
calamity around us, that it might not be God’s will to save us… Could it be at times like this that Gods angels are standing by, listening to what you are going to say, so that you can activate their help? Since the angels are ministering spirits sent to help Gods people, they are activated by the voice of God’s word that you are speaking.
Gods Angels | Help on the Way
The angels of God excel in strength, and carry out Gods plan according to what Gods word says. I would think that knowing an angel is on your side, who excels in strength carrying out God’s word, could really be a magnificent thing. Many years ago my wife was driving to meet me at a Christmas party. I had given her directions, and where I thought I told her to turn right, she turned left. The little road she turned on somehow led her into a very muddy field. The car she was driving was rear wheel drive and the back tires sunk in the mud. She could not move forward or backward trying several times, she was sitting in her car, stuck in the mud, wearing her nice dress and shoes, with no cell phone and no help. She sat there and started crying. After a few minutes of feeling helpless, she had a spark of encouragement that Jesus would help her out of this situation. She put the car in gear, speaking faith in Jesus name, and started moving forward further into the field. She said the car went forward, and she circled around in the mud and drove right out of that muddy field, leaving deep tracks in the mud behind her. I am quite sure she could not have done that without Gods angels, who excel in strength, pushing that car around in a circle and out of that field. Later another person arrived at the Christmas party, who I also had given directions to, that said they had turned on the same road my wife did. They saw the deep furrows in the mud and knew that it was the wrong turn.
Gods Angels Hearken
When reading the Bible, many of the miraculous things we read about go beyond our capabilities, resources and imagination. It would take God to restore sight to the blind, heal the sick without medicine or doctors, make a metal axe head swim out of the water and many other mighty things we read that He has done. (Mark 8:22-26, 2 Kings 6:1-7) Jesus says all these things are made possible to us as we speak forth in faith, basically anything we want to happen, even if our faith measures out to be the smallest in the world like a grain of mustard seed. (Mark 9:23, Mark 11:23-24, Luke 17:6)
Beloved, when you feel like your back is against the wall, and there is no hope, speak forth Gods word and give Gods angels an open door to carry out Gods plan in your life. Don’t let the size of the problem cause any doubts that Gods word will be ignored by His angels. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. Agree with Him in all your ways and He shall direct your path. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
