Salvation From God Psalm 91 Promise

Salvation Sitting in the Secret Place

Salvation; “Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

Salvation is from He that dwells, that sits down, in the secret place of the Most High, we shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty by our choices of faith choosing Jesus as our salvation. When you have chosen to become a Christian, you are considered “in Christ”. Jesus is the head of this church and we are the body of Christ. So as Jesus is so are we.(1 John 4:17) Jesus was absolute perfection in God’s eyes and He always dwells in the secret place of the most high bringing salvation to His followers. When Jesus finished His work here on earth He went to sit at the fathers right hand.(Mark 16:19)  Because of salvation we are all there today at the fathers right hand in Christ. In Jesus we have the salvation, realization and enjoyment of this psalm as we have been qualified for all earthly blessings in Christ. (Ephesians 1:3) We cannot qualify for the protection this psalm brings any other way than through Jesus.

Salvation is Trust

Psalm 91:2 I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.”

When we receive Jesus as Yeshua, which is the word the children of Israel used when they asked God for deliverance, we have placed our trust in God to save us. One of the key ingredients to noticing this salvation in real time on earth is found in your commitment to these first two verses. Notice in verse one and two we have “he who dwells” and “I will say”; this should be your commitment as a follower of Jesus. For example; when you become committed to a hobby you speak of it. You tell others that you do this hobby… it is what you are about. You “dwell in this hobby” and “you have things to say” about this hobby. When you become a Christian, it is not hobby it is a lifestyle of love and commitment to God who loves you. Just like the hobby commitment you’re key ingredients to seeing “real time” salvation from danger is to follow the instructions of the first two verses of the protection psalm; “he who dwells” and “I will say”.

Salvation is Believing

It is not difficult to become a Christian and receive all the benefits that God has for you. You must first realize that becoming a christian is not based on your righteousness, it is based on the righteousness of Jesus; His righteousness is salvationabsolute perfection. God exchanges this perfect righteousness for your imperfect righteousness. This salvation becomes a free gift of righteousness to you. If you were given a free gift that could cause you to triumph in every area in life, no weapon formed against you shall prosper, everything that happens to you works to your good and you become a joint heir with the Son of God, wouldn’t that be something to talk about? Once you realize what you have in Christ, it is easy to follow the “he who dwells” and “I will say” commitment.

To honor God in the New Covenant where Jesus is our righteousness, our faith speaks of His righteousness which in turn leads to our blessings.  Because if you confess with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and in your heart you have faith that your words are true, you will be saved, healed and delivered. Trusting with the heart leads to righteousness, and confessing with the mouth leads to salvation. (Romans 10:7-9)

Beloved, we cannot earn the blessings of God. We receive them by believing God’s love and grace toward us and as we believe we speak what we believe. This is the key to bring Psalm 91 salvation into your life on earth.
