Psalm 1:3 Whatever We Do Shall Prosper

Prosper into Reality

Psalm 1:3
3He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.

By becoming a Christian we have special benefits that we prosper by. God wants us to walk in His divine will for our life, and step out of the hum-drum life that is all around us, and step into what His word says about us.

We are told in God’s Word:

  1. Whatever we do shall prosper. (Psalm 1:3)
  2. We can do all things thru Christ who strengthens us. (Philippians 4:13)
  3. Anything is possible if a person believes. (Mark 9:23)
  4. In Christ, we are a new creation. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

What is reality? With our human reasoning it is what we can see in the natural realm and what makes sense to our mind using past experience. God’s Word gives us hope in something that is beyond our natural human reasoning. In God’s Realm we believe in what we can’t see, and hope in things that don’t take in account natural human reasoning. When we do this, placing our faith in God’s Word, we can see results, and then continue to grow in this supernatural realm. How far you wish to venture into this realm God has left up to you. You start by believing in a Savior who died for your sins, currently He is invisible to your eyes, you talk to Him in prayer and see the results in your life by believing in Him. So why not take the next step and claim your new special benefits God’s Word says you have? Try saying: “Whatever I do shall prosper because God’s Word says it will!” Saying that really has a special “taste good” feel to it, doesn’t it?

God’s Words Prosper by His Speaking

When darkness covered the face of the earth, God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. (Genesis 1:3) When a certain man paralyzed for 38 years lay helpless at the pool of Bethesda, Jesus said, “Rise, take up your bed and walk,” and immediately, the man was healed, took up his bed and walked. (John 5:8–9)

You don’t say such words unless you see something others don’t. God does not see the way man sees. To get the results God wants man to have, man must see the way God sees. We must see the vision of the Almighty. Jesus saw this vision God had given Him and He spoke into existence the things God said He could. We are told: “as Jesus is in this world so are we.” (1 John 4:17) As we speak what God’s Word says, we will see as Jesus did, the results God wants for us.

You Prosper by speaking God’s Word

Beloved, God wants you to see yourself the way He sees you — “like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper”. So see yourself like a tree planted by the rivers of water, bringing forth fruit in your season. See yourself as one who will not wither, whose health will not fail. See whatever you do prospering!prosper

Design your reality by God’s Word and not your human reasoning. See the vision of the Almighty. Our words are powerful especially if we quote God’s word.

Jesus said: “…he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my father.”  Beloved, it is time to see your situation through God’s eyes, you will find that your situation will change because when you see as He sees, you allow Him to work as the Almighty in your life! Then what-so-ever you do shall prosper, by your change of heart and your words you speak.
