Matthew 28:20 Jesus said: I am With You Always

Jesus Presence in Our Life

Matthew 28:20
20“… I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”

Matthew 1:23
23“… and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

Hebrews 13:5
5“… For He hath said, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee”

Jesus said: 28-30“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (Matthew 11:28 MSG)

God has promised you His constant presence, and you can expect He is always there with you everywhere you go. The task you have is to be conscious of His presence so that you can experience the joy and peace this brings. This is because you cannot be in God’s presence without His beauty, love, peace, power and glory rubbing off on you. But how do you practice being conscious of God’s presence?

Jesus Is The Door to God’s Presence

Jesus said, “I am the Road, also the Truth, also the Life. No one gets to the Father apart from me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him. You’ve even seen him!” (John 14:6 MSG)

To know the presence of God is to know the presence of Jesus and visa versa .  When you learn of Jesus through God’s Word, and the blessings that He has blessed you with, you will begin to feel a special peace in your life.

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. (Philippians 4:6-7 MSG)

See Jesus With You

We were designed to walk daily in God’s presence, but typically many will only experience God’s presence while in a worship service or a time of revelation. God has blessed us with His greatest gift, HIS son, and now we all are joint heirs in being blessed.

A good way to experience these blessings, and to know the presence of God, is to learn to practice His presence with you daily. When you are going somewhere, see Jesus going with you. If you have a job interview, see the Lord there with you helping you to answer the questions. If you are going for surgery, see Jesus guiding the surgeons hand. If you have a spell of anger, and are about to say angry words, see the Lord there with you and your demeanor will change. He will help your temperament to calm.

We will always operate at our best level in God’s presence. It is like having oxygen to breathe, we were designed with oxygen in mind. Like breathing oxygen, as we see and practice the presence of the Lord with us daily, we will see the design God had in mind when He created man. This will leave no place for worry’s or fears in your mind. It will be like walking in the garden of Eden with God in the cool of the day.
